The electrical locking and mechanical locking of the VS1 vacuum circuit breaker both belong to the function of preventing misoperation. What is the difference between the electrical locking and the mechanical locking?

From the literal meaning, it is already very clear that electrical locking is operated by lines, which is of an "electrical" nature, while mechanical locking is operated manually. The following are the role of electrical locking:

Electrical blocking closing usually has the following two functions:

1. Connect the contact of the protection action in series in the closing circuit. When the protection is activated, the contact will be disconnected and the switch will be closed.

2. Closing and locking electromagnet (this electromagnet has contacts connected in series to the closing circuit, and a short rod is extended to block the manual closing)

That is, the electrical blocking is realized by connecting the auxiliary contact of the circuit breaker, the limit switch of the energy storage motor and the limit switch of the handcart in series in the closing circuit.

The following is the role of mechanical locking

Mechanical lock: usually refers to a kind of lock that the mechanical structure achieves the intended purpose, usually achieved by locking the electromagnet. Note: After the mechanical lock realizes the operation of one electrical equipment, the other electrical equipment cannot be operated. And only earthing switch and circuit breaker handcart have reliable mechanical locking.

Mechanical interlock refers to the control and hard locking of the mechanical transmission part of the electrical equipment body. The mechanical interlock between the contactors is generally used for the forward and reverse rotation control of the motor, and two contactors are not allowed to pull in at the same time. The electrical interlock is suitable for multiple motors with sequential start and stop. After the front motor stops, the latter motor also stops to prevent material running. The mechanical interlock between the contactors of the handle lock is to make the two contactors used for interlocking cannot operate at the same time by contacting the internal structural mechanism, while the electrical interlocking is to form a chain through the electrical connection through the auxiliary electric shock on the contactor. So that 2 contactors can not function at the same time.

The difference between mechanical locking and electrical locking is:

1. Electrical locking is the use of electromagnetic brakes to achieve locking, which generally occurs in stall conditions;

2. Mechanical locking is the use of mechanical mechanism action, which can act under stall and overspeed conditions.

The above is the difference between electrical locking and mechanical locking of VS1 vacuum circuit breaker.
